The Seeds Story
When owner Heather Kendrick spent a lot of time traveling, she was always struck by the different types of dining establishments that larger cities had to offer, and couldn’t help but feel that the Quad Cities was missing something – a salad café.
Heather brought the idea home, and started to develop her salad café using all the benefits of the rich soil and corn-fed proteins that the Midwest is known for. And thus, the seed had been planted for Seeds.
Working with local producers from the farmers’ markets helped to secure many of the fresh ingredients and options that you’ll find on Seeds’ menu. Options that are hormone-free, natural, and sometimes using purely organic methods.
Seeds strives to provide our customers with all the best attributes in the dining industry: quality ingredients, a comfortable atmosphere, fast service and “build your own” customization. When others may be swinging through fast food restaurants to grab a burger and fries, you can choose the fresh and healthy option in the same amount of time.
