How does the contest work?
It's easy!
Find a photo of your Halloween decorations, expertly carved Jack-o-lantern, cutest Trick-or-Treater or other photo that captures the mood of Halloween and the month of October and upload it on the "Submit an Entry" page.
Photos will not appear immediately, as they must be approved by a moderator. Then you can view other photos, vote for your favorite, and get family and friends to vote too!
Quad-City Times Photo Editor Kevin Schmidt and Quadsville Mayor Melissa Coulter will also judge the entries and select winners. Kevin's Pick, Mayor's Choice and the Quadsvillagers' Choice winners will be announced in Quadsville and featured in the Sunday edition of the Quad-City Times.
Are there prizes?
Yes! Winners can pick up their prize at the front desk of the Quad-City Times, 500 E. 3rd St., Davenport, Iowa, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Prizes will vary.
