Submit a photo of your pet (one pet per entry) with a $10 entry fee. We will then publish all entrants in a round 1 contest special section to appear in the Quad-City Times and Muscatine Journal beginning Sunday, September 14, 2014.
All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday September 7, 2014. See official rules for mailed entries.
We will ask readers to vote for their favorite pet and narrow the field down until we have three finalists, resulting in a grand prize winner and 2 runners up. The top 12 winners will receive a photo shoot with Franscecon Portraiture and will appear in the 2015 Pick of the Litter Calendar. Each registered user receives one free online vote. One free vote, per person, per day on the original form appearing daily during voting rounds in the Quad-City Times and Muscatine Journal. Anyone can vote for a favorite pet with a donation to Newspaper in Education (NIE). Each donation counts as one vote. Visit our Official rules page for more details.
